Located inside one of the best boutique hotels of Turkey ‘Alavya’, the cuisine of the restaurant being fine dining Mediterranean seafood was the starting point of our design. We were inspired by the lifestyle and colours of the region. Laid back, comfortable, natural, effortless yet chic and elaborate, the pastel colours and material variations from softest to hardest, correspond to all senses.

The main area of the restaurant that is 250sqm consists of an open kitchen with a dry-age fridge that welcomes clients to the softly lit space that functions both in summer and winter time thanks to the roof that can open and close. In addition to the main area, the restaurant has an open space for summer times, that contains a bar and a dj setting. All materials were sourced from Mediterranean countries and create a mix of colours and patterns that communicate with the food served, to achieve a holistic experience. Our studio designed most of the furniture and produced them locally, the table lights were supplied by Flos Italy, whereas the special design of the lights at the bar are from Spanish brand ‘a-emotional light’. The floor ceramics are handmade by Turkish brand ‘Otto tiles’ and the patterned white ceramics we used as wall elements and as a dj cabin cover are by our friend Chiara Andreatti produced by ‘Bottega Nove’ in Italy. Our signature natural venetian plaster is applied by our long time studio collaborator Asli Tekin atelier on location. A new branch of the restaurant is expected to open in Istanbul after its success in the south, in 2023.
